She was born in the Qing Dynasty to the emperor of China and his favorite concubine in the year 1634, as Song MeiLin, a beautiful baby girl who became a bastard child with an outcast mother. And not simply because she was a concubine, but because she had been sleeping with more than one man before she was found to be pregnant, the emperor refused to claim the baby girl as his own and banished the mother and child from Shenjing.
Undesirable in her old age, her mother's days of whoring herself out were over, and she began selling MeiLin, telling the men how her daughter was the daughter of the Emperor but he wouldn't acknowledge the poor girl so she had to resort to selling her body on the streets of Beijing, and didn't they pity her enough to spend the night with her and pay her for her time? This was how she met the vampire who changed her. At the age of 17,

first_vampire let on like he was interested in her "time" but killed her mother to put her out of her misery, and stole MeiLin away just because she was pretty. He grew to like her enough to keep her around as a human for about a year and groomed her perfectly before he changed her. He was such a handsome, charismatic man and also her savior, MeiLin couldn't help but to fall in love with him, the two were inseperable for years until MeiLin wanted to explore other things and ran off with another vampire_boy she'd come across in their travels who had managed to seduce her into evils her previous master had never introduced her to. MeiLin now went by the name hanae. (Han like Hahn, and ae like a strong a.) She travelled with this boy to other countries, mostly of the orient, and frequenting Japan. He was Japanese. He loved Japan and it rubbed off on hanae as well. She currently resides in Japan, not too far from Kyoto, but in the country side, in an abandoned, boarded up house. She uses this as a cover and lives in the cellar beneath the house where she keeps all of her valuables and sleeps safely. She is currently without a partner, and she is lonely. She spends a lot of time in the city, dressing male or female, depending on her mood. As a vampire she is pretty much free of sexual preference and is merely attracted to beauty, she loves males and females alike.

I would love for someone to play the two vampires in her biography.
{x} The first one, the one who made her, would always love her, and she would always love him. They wouldn't have seen each other since she ran off with the second male but the feelings would probably still be strong, from her part anyway, if you want to play him and choose to have him get over it, that's fine.
{x} The second male would have been the one who did wrong to hanae, leaving her for another companion, so she learned how it felt for her first companion when she had done it to him. There might be some resent between these two but anything romantically could work out between either of these two males and hanae.
{x} Of course that doesn't mean I'm closed to other ideas. Vampire friends are fun to have and anyone who might be interested in becoming her new partner will definitely have a shot with her.
